“The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Vergers 1er Cru is a blend of two lieux-dits. This has a lovely bouquet with mineral-driven yellow fruit notes and fine tension with a touch of Clementine coming through with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a slightly reduced entry. It has moderate depth, not complex or powerful, but there is sufficient tension on the finish to keep you coming back. This ranks alongside the 2022.”
