“The Dubreuil-Fontaine Bourgogne Rouge Notre Dame de Bonne Espérance 2022 showcases fruit from the family's best parcels in Pommard, Savigny-lès-Beaune, and Ladoix-Serrigny, with the special Ladoix vineyard "La Chapelle Notre Dame" forming the heart of the blend. This 100% Pinot Noir is aged one-third in neutral oak barrels and two-thirds in stainless steel, preserving its fresh, vibrant character. The wine displays bright ruby color with an aromatic bouquet of raspberries, blackberries, red cherries, and a dusting of spice. On the palate, it offers medium body with light tannins, lively acidity, and flavors of tart red fruit leading to a gently spiced finish, an easy-drinking, food-friendly expression of Burgundian Pinot Noir at an accessible price point.”
